Our China guide Sissi & her daughter just arrived in California -- and we were lucky enough to be their guides today. Sissi helped to facilitate our adoption and guided us through the streets, sights and shops in Nanchang (and by "shops" I do not mean actual shopping, but rather "shopping" for medicines, teas, etc.). She spent 2 harrowing nights with us in some pretty scary emergency rooms translating and trying to help our son with the professionalism of someone who does their job to perfection -- and the compassion of a mother. We remain humbly grateful for her attention and care.
Oh what a blessing to see Sissi again!
